Take Responsibility. Perfect Your Walk. (The Cure Part 3)
Your walk with the Lord will be more perfect when you stop believing these charismatic urban legends. Start reading your Bible and understand that you are in control of your mind and your thoughts. You, and only you, own your mind and your thoughts, angels do not and Satan does not. Your mind is your property and you are the property of Jesus. Faith comes from God’s word. “So faith comes from hearing, that is, hearing the Good News about Christ.” The Word is the foundation of your Armor. Without the the Word you have no Armor. Read Ephesians 6 and you’ll see that every piece of the Armor comes from knowledge of God’s Word. Faith does not come from books about the Bible, it’s comes from the Bible.
How do you get rid of evil thoughts? It’s easy, you don’t need to read ten books, unless they are books in the Bible. Here’s how. Read Colossians 3. “….put to death the sinful, earthly things lurking within you….” How do you do that? “…set your sights on the realities of heaven, where Christ sits in the place of honor at God’s right hand. Think about the things of heaven, not the things of earth.” Also you “…must clothe yourselves with tenderhearted mercy, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience. Make allowance for each other’s faults, and forgive anyone who offends you.” I know it sounds so easy and so “Joel Osteen” but think about heavenly things and forgive others. Look at this scripture from Paul and see that peace of mind doesn’t come from going to deliverance ministry or binding some imagined spirit. Peace of mind comes from praise, prayer, reading the word and then doing what you have read.
“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.
And now, dear brothers and sisters, one final thing. Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise. Keep putting into practice all you learned and received from me—everything you heard from me and saw me doing. Then the God of peace will be with you.” Philippians 4
This is an excellent piece to read, “Can Christians be demon possessed? How can Satan influence believers?”
Take responsibility for yourself, gain knowledge, be relevant, Steve
Faith comes by hearing & hearing by The Word of God. That says volumes! The Word of God is all we need to extinguish the firey darts of the Adversary. Using the Full Armor of God we are protected from all assaults of demons & Satan. There is no need for “mass deliverance” for Chritians; we need only look to the Author & Perfector of our faith! What does The Word say? Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Resist the Devil and he will flee.
Moved by The Holy Spirit, Paul wrote, “Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise. Keep putting into practice all you learned and received from me—everything you heard from me and saw me doing. Then the God of peace will be with you.” Philippians 4
God’s Word is always relevant.

When 95 percent of Christians do not have 5 minutes a day quite time with the Bible.. they are all bad sinners.. all of them
A FALSE PROPHET OR NOT?
(Mark 10:19 KJV) Thou knowest the commandments, Do not commit adultery, Do not kill, Do not steal, Do not bear false witness, Defraud not, Honour thy father and mother.
The too often misconception publicized by fundaments on the net too now is that a Prophet only foretells the future, and everything a false prophet does is false, and that he is not a God gifted person.. and this itself is false, not true. How ironical. Balaam was firstly a genuine Prophet of God, he communicated with , talked with God, but he did not always obey, or listen to him, for he next still did his own thing, like most of us today too, and that is what made him a false prophet, and so simply too are the many persons false Christians now too who follow his bad behavior, example, and rebel like the devil now as well. God is still really always displeased with all such negative motivational behaviors, acts of self centered persons, not Christ centered, not Holy spirit obedient.. as the Bible clearly, undeniably indicates now many times.

It isn’t the Prophet’s behavior that makes him false, it’s his wrong prophesy. Both Balaam and Jonah were guilty of bad behavior, but they were prophetically perfect. If a Prophet’s prophcy is ever incorrect then we know “that he is not a God gifted person..”
“Deuteronomy 18:21 You may say to yourselves, “How can we know when a message has not been spoken by the LORD ?” 22 If what a prophet proclaims in the name of the LORD does not take place or come true, that is a message the LORD has not spoken. That prophet has spoken presumptuously. Do not be afraid of him.”
Peter wrote, “2 Peter 2:1But there were also false prophets among the people, just as there will be false teachers among you. They will secretly introduce destructive heresies, even denying the sovereign Lord who bought them—bringing swift destruction on themselves. 2Many will follow their shameful ways and will bring the way of truth into disrepute. 3In their greed these teachers will exploit you with stories they have made up. Their condemnation has long been hanging over them, and their destruction has not been sleeping.”
John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2He was with God in the beginning.
Keeping in mind God is His Word. God’s word will never be wrong no matter who or what speaks it, ever. When our Creator speaks there is a very important message He wants to convey to us. Due to the incredible love He has for us, He will not convey that message through an unreliable source. (one who speaks in the flesh, etc) If God, through whom all things are possible, cannot find a man or woman who will allow the Holy Spirit to speak through them accurately, then God will speak to us through rocks or chickens. To believe that a Prophet of God can be wrong, calls into question the accuracy of the entire Bible, since it’s written by Prophets. The true Prophet is like a tree planted by God Himself. The fruit that the Prophet bears is the Prophesy he utters. That fruit is directly from God through the Holy Spirit, (2 Peter 1:20-21) and therefore cannot be wrong. Jesus said ” A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, and a bad tree cannot bear good fruit.” To be clear one wrong prophesy disqualifies anyone from being a Prophet. ( with a big P ) If we believe otherwise it opens the barn door up for every kind of false and crazy teaching.
